Travel Scooters can be easily disasembled to fit into the trunk of a car.  They are typically cheaper than midrange or heavy duty scooters, although they tend go slower and do not travel as far on a single charge of the battery.

 

The maximum capacity of travel scooters is between 250-300 lbs. They are not recommended for anyone near that weight.  Travel scooters can come with either three or four wheels.  Four wheel models have greater stability but less manouverability than three wheel scooters.
